Stranger Things 5: An Epic Three-Part Finale to Shake Hawkins One Last Time

The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is highly anticipated for 2025. Set to be released in three volumes — the first on November 26, the second at Christmas, and the finale on December 31 — this season takes place in the fall of 1987, four years after the events of Season 4.
The Duffer Brothers, creators of the series, have promised an ambitious and emotional conclusion, featuring spectacular action scenes and character-driven storytelling. Episode titles like The Rightside Up suggest a deeper exploration of the Upside Down.
The main cast returns, including Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Noah Schnapp (Will), and Winona Ryder (Joyce). New faces, such as Linda Hamilton, are also joining the series.
Although filming wrapped up at the end of 2024, post-production remains complex, with over 650 hours of footage to process. The creators compare this season to editing eight full-length films, which could lead to delays.
Fans are eagerly awaiting this epic conclusion to the story of Hawkins.
